The flavours of Bihar, served with love at Mithanpura
Bihari by Nature was born from a simple, stubborn belief: the food of Bihar — earthy, real, smoke-kissed and full of character — deserves a proper home. Not as a curiosity, not as a side note on a multi-cuisine menu, but as the hero of every meal.
At Mithanpura, Muzaffarpur, we cook the food our grandmothers made — litti rolled by hand, chokha roasted over open flame, malpua fried in desi ghee, thekua made for the puja that ends up on every table. Every dish carries a memory, a story, a season of Bihar.
Open-Flame Litti
Roasted the traditional way — over coal, not gas. The char is the point.
Desi Ghee Always
No shortcuts. Every dish that calls for ghee gets real desi ghee.
Fresh Daily
Sattu ground fresh, vegetables from local markets, nothing pre-made.
